You Just Never Know

So, our delivery man, Mr. F, who transports materials throughout our four county library system, was rather interested to see the upcoming wrestling event to benefit the STJFD.  There is a large poster with details hanging on the library front door.

Mr. F and I enjoyed a ten minute discussion this morning about our mutual interest, professional wrestling.  Who would have thought?  Names like Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson were floated about.

We also talked about Linda McMahon, a canny business woman, who with her husband, Vince, put the WWE on the map and grew it from a small regional business to a multinational corporation.

Mrs. McMahon now serves as the Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration.   Mr. F told me that several months ago, a friend of his, was one of a handful of people who were given recognition from the SBA and the awards were presented by Mrs. McMahon.

The event to benefit the STJFD is scheduled for Saturday, March 16th at the OESJ High School and will feature former WWE Superstar Billy Gunn.  For additional information visit   Get a ticket and have an unforgettable time for a great cause!

You just never know what great conversations can crop up across the circulation desk. Kevin Bacon has nothing on this particular six degrees of separation!
