In addition to providing traditional library services, MRML houses a remarkable museum. The museum features an outstanding collection of fine art, sculpture, and historically significant memorabilia reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the Mohawk Valley.
Included are over 50 paintings by European and American artists, bronze sculptures, and a
Tabriz Palace carpet.
Additional exhibits highlight the Erie Canal, Civil War, Palatine Germans, minerals, antique farm and carpentry tools and a pictorial history of St. Johnsville and its citizens.
The Reaney Library is also home to the Robert Hartley Collection featuring powder horns and sketches, military buttons, and archeological artifacts.
